Ashley was born San Clemente on February 10th in 1987. Ashley first began surfing at age 5 before she emigrated to Hawaii. At the age of 6 she won a surf competition using a broken board that she found within a dumpster outside of her house. At the age of 5, she started surfing. She won her very first competition at the age of 6. At the age of 7 she was sponsored. Her birthplace was in San Clemente California but later made the move to Hawaii.
